3. Why We Collect Your Data
We collect and process your personal data for the following purposes:

4. How We Use Your Data

For Candidates: We use your data to assess your suitability for current and future roles, to contact you regarding relevant opportunities, and to maintain records of our engagement with you. Your CV and registration details will be stored securely and reviewed only by authorised Audit People staff.

For Employers: We use your data to respond to your hiring enquiries, provide information about our services and fee structure, and to follow up on any mandates or requirements you share with us. Your contact details will be stored securely and used only for the purpose of facilitating our recruitment services.

5. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell your personal data to any third party under any circumstances.
  • We may share your data with:
  • Trusted technology service providers who support our website and email systems (e.g. hosting providers, email delivery services) — these providers are bound by data processing agreements and may only process your data on our instruction.
  • Professional advisors such as legal or compliance consultants, where necessary

  • We will never share your data with other recruitment firms, employers, or third parties without your explicit consent.

7. How Long We Keep Your Data

After the applicable retention period, your data will be securely deleted from our systems. You may also request deletion at any time — see Section 9 below.

8. How We Protect Your Data

We take the security of your personal data seriously. We implement the following measures:
  • All data is transmitted over HTTPS (SSL/TLS encryption)
  • Access to stored data is restricted to authorised personnel only
  • CV files and form submissions are stored in a secured backend system
  • We regularly review our data handling practices
  • No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we take all reasonable steps to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
