Foresight Consulting AS is a fast growing Norwegian CFO consultancy that is seeking experienced Finance professionals to join its team, particularly in Western Norway.

The firm provides Fractional CFO and specialist Finance services to the SME market, combining experienced financial expertise with a practical and personal approach. Consultants work independently while being part of a collaborative team, with shared expertise, professional support and the flexibility to create a work-life balance that suits them.

Position

The CFO Consultant will work directly with business owners, Management Teams and Boards, providing both ongoing CFO support and project-based Finance expertise.

Assignments may include:

  • Financial Reporting and Management Reporting
  • Budgeting, Forecasting and Financial Planning
  • Cash Flow, Liquidity and Working Capital
  • Financial Controlling and Performance Management
  • Board Reporting and Decision Support
  • Process, Systems and Finance Function Improvement
  • Transactions, Due Diligence and Change
  • Fractional and Interim CFO support

Candidate Requirements

Foresight Consulting is looking for experienced Finance professionals who enjoy taking ownership, solving problems and working closely with clients. The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate:

  • Broad experience within Finance, Accounting or Controlling
  • Proven Financial Reporting and commercial Finance expertise
  • Experience with Budgeting, Forecasting and Cash Flow
  • Ability to translate financial information into practical business decisions
  • Confidence working with business owners, Management Teams and Boards
  • Good communication and collaboration skills with Senior Level Clients & their Teams
  • Relevant higher education within Finance, Accounting or a related discipline

Working Model

This is an Independent Consultant opportunity rather than a traditional salaried position. Consultants operate through their own company under a franchise agreement, supported by Foresight with sales, marketing, common branding, IT infrastructure and a wider team of experienced Finance professionals.
